No. 11 Effectiveness, efficiency and humanisms
Effectiveness and efficiency are cross-cutting policies within any organisation, and they must also be infused with humanistic principles. According to their classic definitions, effectiveness refers to the extent to which proposed objectives are achieved, whereas efficiency focuses on the relationship between means and ends, seeking to minimise resources or maximise outcomes. Both have been cornerstones of business rationale since the twentieth century, establishing themselves as key indicators of corporate success.
